| Description: In 2011, Farkasvölgyi Arquitetura started eight hotel projects in the Belo Horizonte region. One of the hotels presented itself as a major challenge to the entire team; it was a retrofit of the old and unfinished "Beira Rio Hotel“ in downtown Belo Horizonte. The refurbishment required correcting numerous irregularities from the time it was built and were more critical due to the demands of the new laws that now govern the AEC market. Thanks to BIM, ArchiCAD, and GRAPHISOFT's BIMx Hyper-models, the architects, engineers, and other trades were able to collaborate in a very coordinated way, ensuring the high quality completion of this very challenging project. « Less |
