CLEVELAND — (BUSINESS WIRE) — June 29, 2010 — Foundation Software Inc., developer of the award-winning FOUNDATION® for Windows® construction accounting software, has appointed Michael J. Basil as Vice President of Operations. In this role, Mr. Basil assumes responsibility for maintaining the company’s day-to-day initiatives and overall corporate focus. In addition, he will continue his role as the Field Trainer Team Leader.
Mr. Basil joined Foundation Software in 1998 as a Client Support Representative. Since that time, he has been promoted to numerous positions with the company, including Outside Sales, Field Training, Manager of Field Training and, most recently, Vice President.
As the Vice President of Operations, Mr. Basil will work to streamline operations and continue to grow the business.
Company Founder and CEO, Fred Ode, said that Mr. Basil’s background and experience within the company made him an ideal choice for the position. “Mike has an extensive working knowledge of the construction accounting software industry, and he understands how contractors operate their businesses,” Ode said.
