Japan Applies SuperGIS to Ethnology and Archaeology

June 01, 2010 -- SuperGeo Technologies, the leading global provider of complete GIS software and solutions, is pleased to announce that Keio University, Japan, purchased SuperGIS Desktop 3 and SuperPad 3 for the research in Ethnology and Archaeology. Inc., SuperGeo’s reseller in Japan, Keio University selected SuperGIS Desktop 3 and SuperPad 3, the powerful desktop GIS and full-function mobile GIS software respectively, for the Department of Humanities and Social Science, Faculty of Letters. The Department aims to apply the software to Ethnology and Archaeology studies, by collecting, displaying, and visualizing the humanity data on the historical maps.
