FOLSOM, Calif. (October 6, 2009) - Meridian Systems, the Plan-Build-Operate (PBO) technology solutions leader for project-based organizations, announced today that Constructech Magazine has honored Fairmont Pacific Rim/299 Burrard Development with a 2009 Vision Award. Technology Enabler awards were also presented to Event 1 Software and Meridian Systems, among others.

The Constructech Vision Awards honor companies that have realized the advantages of applying innovative technologies to their everyday businesses. All companies were honored during an awards ceremony following Constructech's fourth annual Technology Day conference.

The Fairmont Pacific Rim project in Coal Harbour, Vancouver, BC Canada will run 40 months of construction and is one million square feet and has a multitude of components to make this a stunning addition to Vancouver's waterfront. The project, which includes a 47-story - 5 Star Hotel & Private Residences, is scheduled to be complete in time to open the luxury Fairmont Hotel for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

By applying the right people, work processes, and combination of software, they addressed the management and reporting needs for this very large-scale hotel project.
