Dewberry Announces Geospatial Products and Services Contract Negotiations

July 07, 2009 -- Dewberry has announced that it has been selected to begin negotiations with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) for the new Geospatial Products and Services Contract (GPSC). When negotiations are complete, Dewberry will have served USGS on four consecutive contracts since 1998 when the firm was the first to provide LiDAR data to USGS. During its second contract, Dewberry helped USGS produce its first digital orthophotos with an ADS40 digital camera, while during the most recent contract, Dewberry has continued to provide geospatial consulting services in addition to traditional USGS products for The National Map.

“We look forward to continuing our strong and collaborative working relationship with USGS,” said Dave F. Maune, PhD, a senior project manager with Dewberry’s geospatial and program integration group.
