FIRST Robotics World Champions Attend 2009 PTC/USER World

MINNEAPOLIS, June 8, 2009 – EAC Product Development Solutions (EAC), a global provider of engineering products and services, today announced it will continue to sponsor local FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Programs through the year 2010.

This announcement comes in conjunction with the arrival of the 2009 FIRST Robotics World Champions at the 20th Anniversary PTC/USER World Event in Orlando, Florida. The FIRST championship teams will be appearing at PTC/USER World Exhibit Hall demonstrations throughout the event, as well as the Networking Breakfast on Wednesday, June 10, at 7:30 a.m ET in the Gatlin Ballroom.

In 2009, EAC served as an event sponsor for the Ohio FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Program and a team sponsor for the Lakeville South High School FIRST Robotics Team from Lakeville, Minnesota. EAC is committed to educational initiatives that encourage innovation.

PTC/USER World attendees interested in inspiring a new generation of engineers and scientists in their own community can attend the FIRST Informational Meeting on Tuesday, June 9, at 7:45 a.m. ET in the Conway Room.
