Version 3.2 Of Volume Graphics Software Is Here

August 10, 2018 -- Volume Graphics, a developer of leading software for the analysis and visualization of industrial computed tomography data, has released version 3.2 of the Volume Graphics product family: VGSTUDIO MAX, VGSTUDIO, VGMETROLOGY, VGinLINE, and myVGL. In version 3.2, users benefit from new options for tool and geometry corrections, quicker analysis of repetitive structures, a completely reworked automation tool, more meaningful assessment of mechanical effects of porosity, and much more. Especially for globally active companies, Volume Graphics is introducing a new Global Floating license. 

The new Manufacturing Geometry Correction Module is available for VGSTUDIO MAX, VGMETROLOGY, and VGMETROLOGY ES

What Version 3.2 Offers

Highlights of the new release include:

- digital correction of casting or molding tools or 3D printing geometries;

-" golden" surfaces to define measurement plans even if no CAD model is available;

- intuitive sequential alignment of two objects;

- preparation and testing of VGinLINE Jobs in VGSTUDIO MAX;

- quicker analyses on multiple, periodically arranged regions;

- direct assessment of the mechanical effect of porosity;

- import of FIB/SEM data;

- a new Global Floating license type to use one license flexibly throughout the world;

- and many more new features and improvements.
