CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom, 17th June 2015 - UltraSoC and Wonderep today announced an agreement that will give design teams in Israel immediate access to UltraSoC’s advanced universal system-on-chip (SoC) debug solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, Wonderep will represent UltraSoC exclusively within Israel.
UltraSoC delivers semiconductor IP that helps SoC designers create an on-chip debug infrastructure, de-risking the design process, accelerating time-to-market, improving quality and reducing costs. By empowering pre- and post-silicon debug, the company’s products enable hardware/software co-design, co-integration and unified debugging. This benefits both chip designers and their customers. Using UltraSoC’s technology, the features and performance of a chip can be monitored and refined – even after the chip has been integrated into an end product and shipped into the field.
“Avi Pinkas and his team have nearly 20 years of experience in the Israeli high tech industry. I’m convinced we couldn’t wish for a better partner to address the market in Israel,” said Rupert Baines, UltraSoC CEO. “Avi himself has an intimate knowledge, not just of the local market, but also of a number of technology areas related to UltraSoC’s offerings, such as prototyping and JTAG testing. This combination of technical and market knowledge is a formula for success.”
Avi Pinkas, Wonderep CEO, commented: “UltraSoC has one of the most exciting technologies in the SoC space today. Debug really has become a pain point for chip designers, as we move to heterogeneous multicore architectures in which complex software runs on multiple cores and custom logic. The need for a unified, holistic view of debug is clear.”
