Mar 16, 2015 -- GIS People has been accepted onto the Geoscience Australia Optical, Geospatial, Radar and Elevation (OGRE) Supplies and Services Panel. Their addition to this panel comes hot on the heels of GIS People's news of inclusion on ICT panel arrangements in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, as well as Queensland.

OGRE was established by Geoscience Australia and the Defence Imagery and Geospatial Organisation to allow more effective use of commercial imagery supplies and associated services to Australian Government. All levels of Australian Government are eligible to become users of the OGRE Panel, including federal, state and local government departments, agencies, authorities and companies, as well as other entities with responsibility for managing natural resource management regions.
