IDC Manufacturing Insights Welcomes New Program Director Focused on Product Lifecycle Management

Former Siemens PLM executive strengthens coverage of product innovation strategy

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — October 17, 2014IDC Manufacturing Insights today announced the addition of Jeff Hojlo, Program Director, Product Innovation, to its research team. Mr. Hojlo will focus his research and analysis on the product lifecycle management (PLM) market and product innovation strategies, including topics such as the development of an innovation platform and the intersection of product design, development, and digital manufacturing. Mr. Hojlo will also be responsible for research on business and IT issues related to the engineering-oriented value chain (EOVC), which includes automotive, aerospace & defense, industrial machinery, and heavy equipment manufacturers, as well as the technology-oriented value chain (TOVC), which includes manufacturers in the electronics and semiconductor markets. With 20 years of experience in the IT industry in a variety of product marketing roles, Mr. Hojlo has spent the last decade focused on the PLM industry. Most recently, he was global industry marketing lead at Siemens PLM Software for multiple industries including food & beverage, consumer products, industrial machinery, and heavy equipment. Prior to that, Mr. Hojlo was an Analyst at AMR Research where he conducted research and analysis on product innovation and the PLM market across industries from consumer goods to high tech.
