SmartPlant Spoolgen and SmartPlant Isometrics are unique products on the market when it comes to importing PCF files (Piping Component File describing pipelines), including both the geometry of pipelines (isometrics) and bill of materials (BOM).  Cofely Endel Europipe can now receive piping data files directly from contractors, increasing quality, data consistency and speeding up the fabrication process.

"These tools enable a continuous unbroken data chain, which has a very positive impact in our productivity, enabling us to take more control of the construction process from beginning to end, which is key with our increasing portfolio of turnkey projects," explains Eric Jolly, director at  Cofely Endel Europipe.

Gerhard Sallinger, Intergraph Process, Power & Marine president, said, "This collaboration with Cofely Endel shows how important and strategic it is for our customers to capitalize on data quality and data management to increase productivity and reduce risks. To remain competitive, pipe fabricators are turning to Intergraph technology to manage their data and in the process, are able to exceed their customers' needs for high quality, fast production and efficient pipe delivery."

SmartPlant Spoolgen, powered by ISOGEN®, is the industry-leading solution that can read data from almost any 3D plant design system to create piping fabrication and erection drawings, documents and reports. Users of SmartPlant Spoolgen report ten-fold productivity improvements in drawing production with reduced errors and improved, consistent output quality to ensure accuracy. Intergraph's innovative solution has been deployed successfully on all sizes of plant engineering projects in every region of the world.

SmartPlant Isometrics, powered by ISOGEN®, is the Intergraph solution designed to document piping systems with industry-standard piping isometric drawings, and is ideal for site-based piping engineers and designers. SmartPlant Isometrics can read design isometrics from almost any 3D plant design system, or create new isometrics quickly and accurately from sketches, and it generates a high-quality record for planning, cost estimation, inspection, or design of modifications.
