Yotta’s Mayrise Online Celebrates Milestone Success

February 20, 2014 -- More than 450 UK local authority, contractor and utility users are now accessing live service information and mapping via the Internet thanks to Mayrise Online solutions from Yotta. Using the dedicated server technology, advanced information management systems for Street Works, Highways, Waste, Grounds Maintenance and Street Lighting, can all be remotely accessed from desktops and mobile devices. This has reaped significant benefits for more than 30 organisations including reduced IT spend, improved customer service and early adoption of and compliance with changing legislation.

“Since we launched Mayrise Online a little over four years ago we have made significant investment in the latest hardware and software as well as personnel,” commented Nick Smee, CEO of Yotta. “This ensures we remain at the forefront of hosted software solutions for the UK Local Authority market.”

“Since the launch we have achieved a number of significant milestones including our 450th user of Mayrise Online, sign up of our 36th customer and more recently the upgrade of all Mayrise Online Street Works customers to meet the new EToN6 specification - well in advance of the Department for Transport deadline.”

Using industry standard technology, authorised users of Mayrise Online can access, via the Internet, their remotely hosted Mayrise application. A secure and encrypted high-speed connection to a dedicated server enables seamless integration and joined up working between the customers’ remotely hosted data, applications and web services to internal network resources, 3rd party applications and data.

“We are also adding additional capacity to cope with the ongoing increase in demand,” continued Smee. “This expansion allows for an additional 200 users on three additional servers. The new equipment is all highly specified and designed to offer the optimum performance for the Mayrise suite of software.”

Mayrise Online is also helping users extend the use of their management system into the field with the quick and easy deployment of a Mayrise Mobile solution. Mayrise Mobile empowers field workers, allowing inspectors and engineers to access live service information and process routine tasks without returning to the office. The combination of Mayrise Mobile and Mayrise Online, further improves staff productivity, information accuracy and customer service levels.

Mayrise Online is powered by the fastest managed hosting service from one of the UK's leading hosting and colocation providers who supply dedicated server hosting, critical application hosting and cloud hosting solutions. Mayrise Online also includes expert technicians who monitor the system around the clock ensuring data security and system performance.
