FirstRain CEO Penny Herscher to Be Female Industry Luminary at Electronic Design Automation's "Back to the Future" Party

SAN MATEO, Calif., Oct. 10, 2013 — (PRNewswire) —  FirstRain, the leader in big data analytics for enterprise sales and marketing teams, today announced that its CEO Penny Herscher will be one of two female industry luminaries to be honored at the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Consortium's " EDA: Back to the Future" party. As a luminary, Herscher will host a dinner table at the event for guests that include EDA colleagues, alumni and board members, investors, CEOs and more.

Attendees will have a chance to bid on lunch with Herscher for up to three people at an auction to raise funds for the preservation of EDA history by the Computer History Museum. Hosted by the EDA Consortium, "EDA: Back to the Future" recognizes nearly five decades of innovation and excellence in automating the design process and taking electronics to places never dreamed possible. This event will be held on October 16, 2013 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, Calif.
