ICON Design Automation to provide sales and support for full-flow analog mixed-signal IC design tool suite
MONROVIA, California – October 3, 2013 – Tanner EDA, the catalyst for innovation for the design, layout and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs), has appointed ICON Design Automation Pvt. Ltd., of Bangalore, India, to provide sales and support for all Tanner EDA products in India. Under the distribution agreement, ICON will provide sales and support to help Tanner EDA meet the growing demand in the region for the company’s full-flow analog and mixed-signal (A/MS) IC design suite as well as related specialty design tools and services.
Tanner EDA’s HiPer Silicon offers designers a complete A/MS design flow from digital (HDL) and analog (Spice, Verilog-A) electrical design and simulation through synthesis to physical layout and verification. The integrated tool suite, available on both Windows and Linux platforms, shares a common architecture and common user interface that is consistent across all tools, resulting in a comprehensive, unified software solution.
The company’s HiPer Simulation AMS solution is a complete mixed-signal IC design front-end. HiPer Simulation AMS includes schematic capture (S-Edit), analog simulation (T-Spice), digital simulation (Aldec Riviera Pro TE), mixed signal simulation (Verilog-AMS co-simulation), and waveform analysis (W-Edit).
