Fiatech is kicking off a project that is exploring piping data exchange tools (PCF, ISO 15926) to achieve smooth piping data flow from design to construction, and ultimately to owner/operator handover. The project will also attempt to approximate the cost and schedule savings achieved with implementing the data exchange tools and best practices. To ensure a scalable and deployable solution, the PIF project will capitalize on Fiatech’s Advanced Work Packaging Information Mapping (AIM) project and ISO 15926 Information Model and Proteus Mapping (IIMM) project along with the industry subject matter expertise of Fiatech members. This webinar will share the proposed PIF approach, objectives, scope and deliverables; and provide an overview of piping exchange workflows and activities currently taking place in the capital projects industry.
