Docea Power to Showcase Electronic System Design (ESL) Solutions for Power and Thermal Analysis and Modelling at ARM TechCon 2012 - Chip Design Day

SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- Oct 29, 2012 -- Docea Power at ARM TechCon 2012, Booth # 71

Who
Docea Power, a leading provider of software products for power architects that enable early power architecture exploration, power budget tracking during the whole design phases and faster verification and debug of power and thermal management software.

What
Demonstrations of latest releases of Aceplorer and AceThermalModeler at ARM TechCon 2012 in booth #71.

Docea Power will exhibit the latest version of Aceplorer 3.0 and AceThermalModeler 1.2. The combination of both tools is a unique solution to optimize dynamic thermal management at the architectural level. Dynamic thermal management is a must for mobile and consumer devices with small form factors and running at high frequencies. As thermal time constants are significantly higher than what SoC architects are used to simulate, a unique environment is needed to simulate realistic and long enough use cases to model the coupling between power consumption and temperature at the system level and prove thermal/power management policies efficiencies.

When/Where
Chip Design Day, Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 10 am to 7 pm, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif.
