MONROVIA, California – August 28, 2012 – Tanner EDA, the catalyst for innovation for the design, layout and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs), has hired electronic design automation (EDA) sales professional Edward (Ed) Denn as account manager for the eastern United States and Canada.

“Ed has been in sales and account management with EDA companies for 19 years as well as having a wide breadth of experience in other high technology companies,” said John Zuk, vice president of marketing and business strategy at Tanner EDA. “His ability to build rapport at the strategic, business, and tactical levels make him an excellent addition to Tanner EDA. It is a pleasure to welcome Ed to the team.”

Ed Denn began his career in EDA at Mentor Graphics in 1989, leaving in 1995 as senior account manager. He then worked as a sales executive at LogicVison and Silicon Dimensions. Most recently, Ed was eastern area sales manager for Carbon Design Systems. Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Business Administration.

“I have always enjoyed helping senior decision-makers and technical personnel in high technology companies solve complex problems,” said Ed Denn. “Tanner EDA’s full-flow analog and mixed-signal design suite has broad applicability and an excellent reputation for providing value at best price and for customer support. I look forward to meeting existing customers and to introducing the HiPer Silicon design suite to new customers in the eastern region and Canada.”
