This new commercial point of contact is located in a high-technology cluster, Savoie Technolac, which gathers French and international companies in order to stimulate exchanges and promote innovative business initiatives. Being settled on the French territory, DBx GEOMATICS is also able to support actively its existing customers and multiply new contacts in order to develop new business opportunities.
Since the office opened, the company has already signed a partnership with Géosignal ( http://www.geosignal.fr), one of the most important engineering company specialized in geo-spatial data. Géosignal belongs to the BVA group, one of the French leader in marketing and opinion research. With the CartoVista solution, Géosignal has developed rich web mapping applications for the statistical analysis needs of their own customers. A fraud analysis application is developed for RATP, the provider of transport network in the Parisian area with strategic tools for data visualization and exploration.
DBx GEOMATICS intends to actively develop its European market by opening this office in France while planning the launch of the version 3.0 of its software CartoVista for the first quarter of 2011.The company will also be part of the International Cartographic Conference ( http://www.icc2011.fr/) in Paris next July where it will present the brand new functionality of its CartoVista platform.
