TRUMBULL, Conn. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — October 4, 2010 — Océ, an international leader in digital document management, today announced that Océ North America Document Printing Systems has begun selling the imageRUNNER 1025 Series of multifunctional printers. Designed for small businesses and workgroups, these monochrome devices feature affordable, high quality digital copying, laser printing, color scanning and document distribution capabilities.
“The introduction of these innovative products from Canon further expands the Océ product line, giving our workgroup customers easy access to common office functions in one compact device,” said John Reilly, President, Océ North America, Document Printing Systems. “These models enable us to provide our customers with the best printing products and technology available in even the smallest office environment.”
The imageRUNNER 1025 Series comes in three models: the imageRUNNER 1025, a base model that features copy, print and color scanning capabilities; the imageRUNNER 1025N, which includes a 50-sheet automatic document feeder and the imageRUNNER 1025iF, which features all of the capabilities of its sister products, along with color-enabled document distribution features and powerful Super G3 faxing.
“We are excited to offer the imageRUNNER 1025 Series to Océ’s customers," said Sam Yoshida, vice president and general manager, Imaging Systems Group, Canon U.S.A. "These models provide a new level of flexibility, excellence in quality, capabilities and convenience to meet the evolving needs of busy workgroups and small businesses."
Enhanced usability on the imageRUNNER 1025 Series begins with the system’s user-friendly control panel, where users can access a number of document manipulation features. A standard USB 2.0 interface is available for plug-and-play connectivity and the models may be fully networked (optional on the imageRUNNER 1025 model). In addition, an embedded Department ID Mode tracks and limits system access to users with IDs and passwords and device management utilities provide users with real-time device status information.
Delivering productivity in a compact footprint, the imageRUNNER 1025 Series models copy and print at up to 25 pages per minute (ppm) (letter) at a resolution of up to 1200 x 600 dpi. The models also feature standard automatic duplexing to save time and reduce paper costs. A legal-sized platen can scan single-page documents or, to further increase productivity, the 50-sheet duplex automatic document feeder (available on the imageRUNNER 1025N/1025iF models) can quickly scan multi-page originals.
