Meet The STARRS Of The 2010 ASFPM Annual National Conference

May 12, 2010 -- Orlando, FL — PBS&J, managing partner of the Strategic Alliance for Risk Reduction (STARR) Joint Venture with G&O, Stantec, and CDM, will share valuable information with flood experts at the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) Conference, May 17-20, 2010. Nearly 1,200 conference attendees are expected to convene at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where they will have opportunities to network and explore emerging strategies, technology, and applications in floodplain management.

Joshua Price, senior project manager at PBS&J, will be hosting a live demonstration of Flood Map Desktop™ (FMD)—the premier software extension to ESRI’s ArcGIS Geographic Information System (GIS) software that produces FEMA flood hazard mapping products. As FEMA decommissions the DFIRM tools, don’t miss these dates for valuable insight to complete Risk MAP projects with the FMD software solution:
