The Business Journal compiles the list of 100 private companies based on their revenue growth over a three-year period. Axium placed 53rd on the list, with 7.3 million in revenue and a 58% growth rate. The companies on the list achieved combined revenue of 2.5 billion dollars and added 2,008 jobs in Oregon over the last two years.

The growth rate of the Top 100 companies measures the revenue growth from 2006 to 2008. To be eligible, companies had to achieve a minimum of $500,000 in annual revenue in 2006 and have shown revenue growth over the past three years. Each of the companies must also be located in Oregon or Clark County, Washington, and be a privately held, independent, for-profit corporation, proprietorship or partnership.
