Beaverton, Oregon – June 23, 2008 — Axium, a leading developer of accounting and project management software for architectural and engineering firms (A/E), is proud to announce that Axium placed on The Business Journals Fastest-Growing Private Companies list for 2008. The Business Journal compiles the list of 100 companies based on their revenue growth over a three-year period. In Axium’s first appearance on the list they ranked 64th with 67.6% growth.

Among the Top 100 winners was also an Axium client, Ash Creek Associates Inc. Ash Creek, which started in 2004, has been using Axium’s Ajera accounting and project management software since 2006. Ash Creek specializes in environmental and geotechnical consulting and were able to grow 140% in two years from $1.5 million to $3.6 million.

The growth rate of the Top 100 companies measures the revenue growth from 2005 to 2007. To be eligible, companies had to achieve a minimum of $500,000 in annual revenue in 2005. Of the 100 companies comprising the list, 46 businesses were not on the list last year. The winning companies differed from manufacturers to audiology consultants to software and services. The winners were honored at a standing room only reception on June 19 at the Portland Art Museum.
