Angstrom Technologies(TM) Provides Rendering Solutions for Blue Sky Studios(TM) Hit Animation Feature Film "Horton Hears a Who"(TM)

BOSTON, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Apr 15, 2008 -- Angstrom Technologies Corp. (OTCBB: ANGS), a green computing solutions company, announces today that Blue Sky Studios, a Fox™ Entertainment company has continued deployment of Angstrom Titan64 SuperBlade™ rendering blades for the creation of the hit animation movie "Horton Hears a Who." Angstrom blades are energy efficient computers powered by AMD (NYSE: AMD) Opteron™ processors to provide maximum performance. Blue Sky Studios is using the Angstrom Titan64 computers to enable significantly more complex and faster generation of movie animations.

Angstrom Microsystems specializes in Green Computing solutions, providing blade servers and workstations uniquely designed for the special effects industry. With both hardware and software solutions to reduce the power needed to drive computing, Angstrom reduces the number of machines required to facilitate these tasks, thereby saving companies significant investments into additional servers at the same time reducing the energy required to run these servers.

"Angstrom is proud to continue its close relationship with Blue Sky Studios, one of the premiere animations houses creating some of the most innovative movies today," said Lalit Jain, CEO of Angstrom Microsystems. "Angstrom has tailored its energy efficient solutions for the creative needs of Blue Sky Studios animators and post production facilities and is glad to continue its relationship since Blue Sky's last success with 'Ice Age: The Meltdown,' where Angstrom servers were also deployed."

"We are happy with Angstrom computing solutions and chose to continue our relationship for 'Horton Hears a Who,'" said Carl Ludwig, Chief Technology Officer at Blue Sky Studios. "Angstrom's ability to quickly deliver quality AMD Opteron processor-based blade solutions and provide technical assistance enabled us to easily manage and expand our growing requirements for the film."

"AMD is pleased to work with Angstrom Microsystems and Blue Sky Studios to provide the latest in high performance solutions geared towards the animation market, " said Gary Bixler, director, North America marketing, AMD. "Angstrom's use of AMD Opteron processors with industry-leading performance-per-watt helps provide a low power Green Computing solution without sacrificing performance."
