DVCon Europe 2024 to Focus on Automotive and AI with Program, Keynotes and In-depth Panel
New SystemC Competition Announced
Munich, Germany – 18th September 2024 - The Design and Verification Conference & Exhibition Europe (DVCon Europe), sponsored by Accellera Systems Initiative, has announced an extensive technical program, industry leading keynotes and a new-style in depth technical panel session. Also new this year is a SystemC competition. DVCon Europe runs on 15th and 16th October at the Holiday Inn Munich .
The 2024 conference will focus on the themes of Automotive and AI, well represented by papers in the Engineering and Research Tracks, as well as by the panel and keynotes. Full details are now available at https://dvcon-europe.org/
Panel: The objective is to take an outside-in and inside-out view, to assess where the automotive industry stands today with respect to embracing new ways of working and introducing new technologies, as proposed by digital transformation and AI initiatives.
Keynote speakers: Thomas Boehm, Senior Vice President and General Manager Microcontroller Automotive at Infineon Technologies with ‘Dependable microcontroller architectures – challenges and opportunities in a fast-changing automotive market’; and Erik Norden, Chief Technology Officer of a stealth start-up (former key roles at Apple, Google and NVIDIA) on ‘Next 10x in AI – System, Silicon, Algorithms, Data’.
Mark Burton, General Chair of DVCon Europe, explained, “I feel very fortunate to preside over DVCon Europe this year. Our aim is to bring the hardware and software communities together, and this year we’ll achieve that with our new SystemC competition, a strong line up of keynote speakers and a great technical program, with the research track continuing to grow.”
