EUSI: New Satellite Imagery of Mt. Etna Eruption

European Space Imaging (EUSI) has captured satellite imagery yesterday (4 July) of the most recent Mt. Etna eruptions. The Voragine crater awoke from a four-year silence yesterday with explosions of lava. The images were locally tasked by EUSI, using the Maxar WorldView-2 satellite.

In the 50 cm resolution imagery, you can see smoke traveling up between the clouds as well as what appears to lava flowing from the crater.
