European Space Imaging partner, Maxar, collected new satellite imagery yesterday (August 10th) of Saki airbase at Novofedorivka, Crimea, Ukraine that shows the aftermath of the reported attack on the Russian airbase.
In the link provided below, you can download a gallery of images that compare/contrast the airfield and the Su-24 bombers and Su-30 fighters deployed at the airbase before the attack (May 16, 2022 imagery) with yesterday’s imagery. Additionally, we are providing several color infrared images from yesterday which help visually show the extent of the area that was burned by the explosions and fires caused by the attack. As a reminder, with color infrared imagery, burned vegetation appears in shades of black/grey while unburned vegetation looks red/pink.
