Speaker submissions for the 2022 edition of GEO Business are now being accepted. The UK’s largest geospatial event returns to ExCeL London on 18-19 May 2022.

The free-to-attend show brings together thousands of visitors from across geospatial community for a showcase of the latest tech, tools and solutions for the gathering, storing, processing and delivery of geospatial information. GEO Business features an exhibition of around 100 global companies and an impressive speaker programme made up of over 80 sessions across the two days.

Talks cover a range of hot topics for geospatial, including the latest technologies such as earth observation, Building Information Modelling (BIM), laser scanning and LiDAR, mobile mapping, drones/UAVs; key industries such as AECO, education, emergency services, heritage, highways, insurance, railways, security; big issues from climate change to diversity in the geospatial profession; and much more.

Event Director, Ollie Hughes says: “This is your opportunity to share your expertise and help drive the future of geospatial. If you’re working at the cutting edge of geospatial innovation and have knowledge to share, then we want to hear from you. Or if you’re just starting out in the field and can help others in the same position, we’d love you to share your insights.

“We’re looking for case studies, research projects, debates, workshops, live demos, how-to guides, examples of best practice, new technologies and new ideas. Multiple entries are allowed, so don’t be afraid to get creative with your submissions.”

The deadline for applications is Monday 28 February 2022 and they must be made through the website. Presentations are typically 25 minutes long and focus on education (no product pitches allowed).
