“In the background of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, the HyperX team is proud to make an impact with the BroadcastHER Academy initiatives and looks forward to enabling the latest group of Fellows to advance and grow in their gaming and esports journeys,” says Wendy Lecot, head of HyperX strategic alliances. “We’re seeing a swell of support from the mainstream to encourage females to break the mold and positively change the perception of “a typical gamer” and how they can fulfill their dreams in the gaming industry. It’s an important time in the gaming industry to continue to elevate women to combat gender bias, and HyperX is focused on doing our part to encourage diversity and help change mindsets.”
