Over the last six months, the company has expanded its collaborations and partnerships with the world’s leading material companies including Henkel, BASF, DSM and Evonik to create a powerful portfolio of production grade photoplastic and thermoplastic materials. All of these performance materials will be on display at the Nexa3D virtual booth with other in-show materials announcements to be made during the show.

The company will also participate with its factory automation partner Siemens in a joint conference discussion on the converging role of AM within Industry 4.0. In addition, Nexa3D will co-host a webinar with DSM on advances and breakthroughs for PBT materials within additive manufacturing on Monday, Nov. 9.

“We are all passionate additive manufacturing practitioners that are committed to digitizing the world’s supply chain sustainably,” said Avi Reichental co-founder, Chairman and CEO, Nexa3D. “For the first time in 17 years, we are not able to meet in person in Frankfurt for our annual industry pilgrimage. As an industry, we hope can make this virtual event a memorable one nonetheless.”

“We founded Nexa3D in 2016 with a sole purpose in mind: to make the world’s fastest polymer 3D printers affordable for professionals and businesses of all sizes. As we attend Formnext Connect 2020, our printers are capable of continuously printing at speeds of up to 8 liters per hour. This represents 20X productivity gains without typical costs associated with tooled plastics. We are deeply grateful that despite the unprecedented challenges that Covid-19 continues to place in front of us, Nexa3D is having an exceptional year thanks to our customers, partners and above all our incredible team. Moreover, we are heartened by the way that our entire 3D printing industry is stepping up to face the greatest global challenge of our time and wish everyone who is walking the additive path much success.“

“We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Frankfurt virtually this time and face-to face at an industry event in the not-too-distant future. Above all, we hope everyone stays safe, productive and successful.”

Nexa3D plans to showcase and demonstrate the following products at Formnext Connect:

NXE400 photoplastic 3D printer (SL)
With an unprecedented 16L build volume measuring 10.8 in x 6.3 in x 15.7 in (27.5 cm x 16 cm x 40 cm), intelligent optimization, and Nexa3D’s revolutionary patented LSPc technology, the NXE400 is the perfect printer for any application. The ultrafast NXE400 reaches speeds of 8 liters per hour, transforming the 3D printing industry in the same way that broadband internet offered new possibilities compared to dial-up access. Nexa3D has partnered with world class resellers to make the NXE400 available across the globe. Watch NXE400 video.

xCure post processing system
xCure is our new intelligent post processing curing system for all photoplastic-based parts produced on the NXE400. xCure is designed to consistently and rapidly unlock the full potential of 3D printed parts at production scale, ensuring the delivery of desired mechanical properties, part to part and printer to printer. xCure boasts a large chamber size that readily accommodates parts as large as 16 liters in volume with the ability to simultaneously fit three build plates and enable parts to be cured individually. QLS350 thermoplastic 3D printer (LS)
Featuring the highest part throughput in its class, the QLS350 delivers significant savings compared to traditional tooling costs and provides unprecedented production throughput and flexibility. The QLS350 produces up to 4X the print speed of traditional laser sintering technologies. With its removable build unit, for independent cool down and depowering module, the QLS350 delivers a polymer-based production alternative to traditional injection molding with full Industry 4.0 capabilities designed for lights-out 24/7 operation.
