FedRAMP is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. FedRAMP's authorization process includes an in-depth examination of a solution's data security and governance requirements. A FedRAMP Authorization at the Moderate impact level includes use of FIPS 140-2 validated encryption and performing continuous monitoring.
