ActivePDF Improves Ranking to 14th Amongst 'Best Places to Work in Orange County 2019'

Orange County Business Journal and Best Companies Group Release the List of Top Orange County Businesses

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif., July 15, 2019 — (PRNewswire) —

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif., July 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ --  ActivePDF, the leading provider of PDF automation technologies and digital transformation solutions, is proud to be named as one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in Orange County once again. The awards program was created in 2009 and is a project of the Orange County Business Journal and Best Companies Group. While ActivePDF has ranked numerous times before, this is one of the highest rankings it has achieved since the program began.

This county-wide awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the very best places of employment in Orange County, California. This includes anonymous research and surveys that identify how companies benefit the economy, its workforce, and the impact on their community.

"With nearly 4 million small businesses in California, it's a true honor for ActivePDF to be recognized once again as one of the top companies to work for within Orange County," says Tim Sullivan, ActivePDF Founder, Chief Architect, and CEO. "It's important to our company culture that we always rank amongst the best in everything we do. As we approach our 20-year anniversary this January, 2020, my vision for establishing a successful company hasn't changed. It started with a solid technology and grew into a reality because of the people I trusted the most. I'm deeply proud of the PDF solutions we provide to the world, the respected standing we have in the community, and mostly for the amazing team of employees who make ActivePDF the success it is."

ActivePDF is an award-winning provider of .NET PDF tools and digital transformation solutions. In addition, the company has built a reputation for giving back to the community by sponsoring many local charities such as the Ryan Getzlaf Golf Shootout Benefiting CureDuchenne, the Anaheim Ducks Foundation, and the Charley Hoffman Foundation.

Partnering with local athletes and teams is yet another way ActivePDF supports community and philanthropic efforts. Sponsorships include PGA TOUR winner Charley Hoffman and PGA TOUR Champions winner Scott McCarron, as well as many teams such as the Anaheim Ducks, LA Chargers, and LA Galaxy.

To be considered for participation in the Best Places to Work in Orange County program, employers had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity
  • Be a publicly or privately held business
  • Have a facility in Orange County, CA
  • Must be in business a minimum of 1 year

To determine the Best Places to Work in Orange County, organizations from across the county entered the two-part process. The first part consisted of evaluating each employer's workplace policies, practices, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top organizations and the final ranking.

The combined scores determined the top organizations and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Orange County and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final ranking.
