MAYNARD, Mass., May 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Stratus Technologies, a global leader in continuous availability solutions for mission-critical applications, today announced its fault tolerant server for industrial automation environments, ftServer, received the HMI and SCADA Technology Partner Product of the Year for 2017 award at AVEVA’s Global Partner Summit, which took place April 18-20, 2018 in Lake Forest, California. The award is a result of extensive lab testing that validates ftServer’s outstanding performance in minimizing unplanned downtime when used with AVEVA’s newest release of System Platform 2017.
According to AVEVA, the hardware performance test was designed to measure screen refresh latency and application performance measuring the ability for various industrial process control applications to run continuously without interruption, data loss or corruption during different component failures. Through these different failure scenarios, no application disconnects, data loss or corruption occurred. All testing was done at AVEVA’s Lake Forest, California facility and was run by AVEVA’s Quality Assurance (QA) department on a 100 I/O test bench.
