Alliance Memory Appoints TJ Mueller as Vice President of Marketing

SAN CARLOS, Calif., May 03, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alliance Memory today announced that TJ Mueller has joined the company as vice president of marketing. In his new role, Mr. Mueller will be responsible for positioning the company for growth in new markets, bolstering its product offering through the acquisition of new products, and establishing relationships with other leading-edge semiconductor companies for the development of reference designs for various applications.

Mr. Mueller has over 20 years of experience in business development, marketing, product management, and sales for leading semiconductor companies. Most recently, he served as business manager for the Communications Business Unit at Altera Corporation, which was acquired by Intel in 2016. Previously, he held the positions of director of corporate business development and product management at Integrated Device Technology (IDT); vice president of marketing at NetLogic Microsystems (later acquired by Broadcom); and product manager for memory products at Hitachi Semiconductor America.

“I’ve known TJ since the 1990s, when he was managing the DRAM business at Hitachi America while I managed the SRAM market,” said David Bagby, president and CEO of Alliance Memory. “In the years since, he has established an impressive track record of success in the semiconductor industry in a variety of management roles. With TJ as our vice president of marketing, Alliance Memory is well positioned for continued and accelerated growth.”

“Alliance Memory has become an indispensable resource for manufacturers around the world who need a flexible and reliable source of memory ICs for their products,” said Mr. Mueller. “The company continues to rewrite the playbook for how this semiconductor industry supports customers over the long term, and I’m looking forward to helping create the next several chapters in this compelling story.”

Mr. Mueller holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Stanford University. He is located in San Carlos, California, and reports to David Bagby.
