A month ago, KALEAO announced the availability of KMAX, marking a significant step forward in computing scalability, efficiency and performance density, seamlessly integrating software and hardware. KMAX implements "true convergence," a new approach to hyperconvergence, that leverages KMAX's optimized design and intelligent software to obtain high density, high performance, low power consumption, and data locality, while giving the flexibility and agility that is needed to manage today's IT infrastructure.

At SC16, KALEAO will present its novel ARM 64-bit architecture for HPDA, which boasts FPGA acceleration of network and storage, including high performance NVMe SSDs, large cross sectional memory bandwidth and a very high core density (more than 1500 CPU cores per 3U rack space chassis) for massively distributed storage and compute. KALEAO KMAX for HPDA is capable of boosting Hadoop and other big data platforms, while optimizing hardware costs and energy consumption.
