The new data is based on a comprehensive survey of construction firms and includes data on how many firms are coping with labor shortages and what some of the possible causes are for tight labor conditions.
Stephen Sandherr, the association's chief executive officer, will release the new worker shortage data and identify measures public officials should take to increase the supply of qualified workers. Nancy Munro, executive manager of Kirkland, Wash.-based MidMountain Contractors, Inc. and Randy Hall, president & CEO of Atlanta-Ga.-based Batson-Cook Company, will discuss construction labor conditions in their markets. Following the announcement, Sandherr, Munro and Hall will answer questions.
