Created by Two Bit Circus, STEAM Carnival aims to capture the imaginations of adults and kids alike with special focus on igniting children's interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. The event features mind-blowing games, interactive amusement, stage shows, aerialists and more, designed to inspire the next generation of doers, dreamers, innovators and inventors.

WHAT:

Play immersive, high-tech games, engage with your kids, and have fun exploring a STEAM–based carnival.

SOME of what you can expect:

Off Your Rocker Racing – Saddle up and race your horse (ahem, saw horse) against six other players. Each horse has an accelerometer built into it to track your speed and your digital horse on-screen reflects how fast you go. Push the “giddy-up” button for an extra boost.

Button Wall – Whack-a-mole meets Twister. Compete to be fastest by tapping buttons with your hands, feet, face and knees!

Hovalin – 3D printed violin and performances by Kaitlyn Hova.

Dr. MegaVolt – Dr. Austin Richards is the creator of Dr. MegaVolt and has been building Tesla coils since 1981. He will be performing with his 8.5 ft. Tesla Coils!

Dunk Tank Flambé – Like a regular dunk tank, but with fire! The Dunk Tank Flambé engulfs its participant in a fiery explosion when an attendee on the outside strikes its target.

NASA’s GeneLab – Showcasing model organisms and technologies used by NASA scientists to further our understanding of the effects of space travel on living systems along with NASA trivia, special guests and more!
