Developing and deploying surveys for fieldworkers using mobile devices just got easier. With Survey123 for ArcGIS, a new app from Esri Labs, you can create form-based surveys, including polls and questionnaires, and share them with employees or volunteers. They can use the surveys to collect data in the field, even when offline. Later, you can visualize and analyze that data using Esri ArcGIS.

To familiarize yourself with this app, tune in to the live training seminar Survey123 for ArcGIS: Ask Questions, Get the Facts, Make Decisions on October 29, 2015.

The seminar presenters will introduce you to Survey123 for ArcGIS, which provides a complete workflow for creating, sharing, and analyzing smart-form-based surveys. They will walk you through the three steps involved in setting up and deploying the surveys and show you how this app will help you easily visualize and analyze data to make informed decisions. Survey123 for ArcGIS is available to anyone with an ArcGIS account.

After viewing the seminar, you will understand how to

·       Create intuitive, form-based surveys and publish them.

·       Share the surveys with fieldworkers, who will use them to capture data, online or offline.

·       Visualize survey data on a map and analyze the data to better understand conditions in the field and detect patterns.

GIS professionals, including managers and analysts, field operations managers, researchers, educators, and others who want to work with user-friendly surveys, will find this live training seminar highly useful and educational.

You will need a broadband Internet connection and an Esri Account to watch the live training seminar. Creating an Esri Account is easy and free: visit esri.com/lts, click Login at the top right, and register your name and email address.
