The Art Institutes' New College Bound Design, Media, Fashion, and Culinary Courses Allow High School Students to Experience College-Level Courses

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 13, 2015 — (PRNewswire) — The Art Institutes system of schools today announced its new program, College Bound, that allows high school juniors and seniors to experience college-level design, media arts, fashion, and culinary courses at 31 campuses of The Art Institutes. The classes, offered on Saturdays during the school year, are non-credit bearing.

The first high school students will begin College Bound in October 2015. The course hours match existing requirements of college-level foundation courses offered at The Art Institutes.

College Bound allows high school juniors and seniors to experience a college setting, classroom, and coursework. It's excellent preparation for the next step in their education and provides insight into how an engaging creative education can lead to a future in the design, media, fashion, or culinary industries," said Tim Moscato, Chief Operating Officer, The Art Institutes.

A tuition and materials fee is required for enrollment in College Bound.
