Excellicon announces deployment of its products by Socionext to address constraints timing development challenges

Yokohama, Japan, June 2, 2015 - Excellicon Inc., an innovative provider of end-to-end Timing Constraints Analysis and Debugging solutions for the automation of constraints authoring, completion, validation, and Management announced deployment of its products by Socionext Inc., a leading provider of System-on-Chip solutions. Excellicon products are expected to help in increasing the efficiency of the Semiconductor development with respect to timing closure of the final product, as well as improving the overall quality of the timing of the final products.

The acquisition of the Excellicon products is expected to fully automate the process of timing constraints development, which is mostly done manually today. The users of Excellicon tools can start from scratch or leverage existing timing constraints files in order to automate the entire development and validation of their timing constraints used for placement and routing of the chip. Through automation the lead times in timing constraints can be reduced by orders of magnitude.

We could  build timing constraints of those  IPs and promote them  to SoC level much quicker.”.
