Roboris partners with Machining Cloud GmbH

Camarillo, CA, May 29, 2015 -- Roboris S.R.L., developer of Eureka Virtual Machining, a software application for simulating CNC machine tools and programming robots, and Machining Cloud GmbH, product data content provider for the digital shop, jointly announce their new partnership under which the users of Eureka will have direct access to complete and highly accurate cutting tool data.

“Our industry is hungry for a solution to facilitate the flow of data — descriptive, usage and geometric information, and knowledge — from the cutting-tool manufacturers to their customers and their shop floors,” says Stéphane Julien, Cloud Evangelist.

Machining Cloud represents a platform with a vision to provide single-source access to complete and up-to-date cutting-tool product data from all the leading cutting-tool manufacturers.

Upon completion of the Eureka Machining Cloud Connection, the interface between the Cloud and the Eureka software, Eureka customers will realize: 1) an enhanced virtual machining experience through the assurance of having the lastest cutting-tool data; 2) direct access to the cutting-tool manufacturers’ latest recommendations on cutting speeds and conditions for a given cutting-tool assembly in a given material; 3) and the ability to make better choices when searching for new cutting tools and when deciding how to best run them on their CNC machines.

“We are always looking for new tools to increase our customers' productivity using our software,” says Gianluca Bioli, Co-Founder and CEO of Roboris. “The integration with Machining Cloud will allow our users to save time while setting up their simulations, greatly reducing the need to access multiple sources for tooling data.”
