Company Unveils New Interactive Booth at CES 2015 with Three Unique Environments that include Home, Work and Pro Studio Zones
MELVILLE, N.Y. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — January 5, 2015 — At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, NV January 6th-9th, Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, will showcase its latest consumer and professional products throughout its “See Impossible” themed booth. Attendees to the booth (Central Hall #13106) will experience a completely revamped and newly designed booth layout, intended to demonstrate how Canon products and solutions are utilized in the daily real-life environments of the home, work, and professional studio, inspiring visitors to “See Impossible” with Canon.

The Canon booth will feature three unique environments; Home, Work, and Pro Studio, that will feature live demonstrations of Canon products and solutions, as well as touch-and-try areas.
A Connected Home
The Home Zone will feature consumer cameras and printers across the EOS and PowerShot lines of digital cameras, the VIXIA line of personal camcorders, and the PIXMA line of inkjet printers, and is designed to look like a consumer’s living room in their home. The layout of the Home Zone is intended to display how Canon products help consumers capture, share, and print their cherished memories. There will be an HD video presentation that demonstrates how simple recording and editing of HD video can be with an EOS DSLR camera. There will also be presentations throughout each day that highlight Canon lenses and the impact they have capturing images. Attendees will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with the products, including those that are announced at CES 2015 such as the Canon Connect Station CS100 device, the PowerShot SX710 HS digital camera and the PIXMA MX492 printer, as well as recently announced products such as the PowerShot G7 X and PowerShot SX60 HS digital cameras, and VIXIA HF R60 personal camcorder. Designed to help consumers quickly and easily view, share and store their most valuable images and videos wirelessly, the new Canon Connect Station CS100 device will be central to the Home Zone. Canon product representatives will be on site to demonstrate how the new device interacts with Canon digital imaging products to help consumers store and share images and videos.
A Streamlined Office
Designed to replicate a real estate office setting, the Work Zone of the Canon booth will feature products and demonstrations to show how Canon products can work together within an office environment to help businesses and people who work from home handle and meet the needs of their day-to-day activities. Products featured in the demonstrations, as well as in touch-and-try areas, include the PIXMA line of professional inkjet printers, the MAXIFY line of SOHO printers, the imagePROGRAF line of professional inkjet printers, the imageCLASS line of SOHO and SMB laser printers, the imageFORMULA line of mobile and office document scanners , NVS security cameras, and the REALiS line of projectors. Featured in the Work Zone will be the new flagship Color imageCLASS MF820Cdn that was announced today to help meet the needs of small and medium business customers.
Professional Imaging Showcase
The Pro Studio Zone will allow visitors to experience what a day in the studio with a professional photographer or cinematographer is like. Demonstrations include a live shoot with Canon Explorer of Light Clay Blackmore, featuring the EOS 7D Mark II camera, a live video shoot with Explorer of Light Bruce Dorn featuring the EOS C100 Mark II camera, a “sports-themed” live shoot with Explorer of Light, Peter Read Miller, featuring the EOS 7D Mark II camera, as well as technical presentations from some of Canon’s experienced field staff. In addition, Explorer of Light Tyler Stableford, will be presenting images from his American Farmers series and Whale Sharks series. Demonstrating the complete input-to-output Canon workflow, images from each live shoot will be printed on imagePROGRAF and PIXMA PRO professional inkjet printers. For the first time at a U.S. tradeshow Canon will exhibit the CINE-SERVO 50-1000mm T5.0-8.9 Cinema EOS lens, the world’s longest focal length (75-1500mm with its built-in 1.5x extender) and highest (20x) magnification among Super 35mm zoom lenses*. Canon’s support and quality continue well beyond the point of sale, and with a 100% U.S.-based service and support team, Canon will have technicians in the CES booth demonstrating Canon Maintenance Service, intended to help ensure optimal condition and performance of Canon EOS DSLR’s and EF Lenses.
Something for the Senses
For the first time at CES, the Canon booth will also feature a PIXMA PRO
City Senses Gallery. This gallery will feature images created by local
Las Vegas photographers, Heather Gill and Emily Wilson, through the
senses of touch, taste, smell and sound. PIXMA PRO City Senses
photographers will be on hand in the Pro Studio to discuss the
inspiration behind the images they elected to capture, print and display
in the PIXMA PRO City Senses Gallery which will have a Las Vegas theme.
