At the start of the new year, EIVA in cooperation with Atlas Professionals will be launching two NaviSuite training software courses: a two-day Basic NaviPac Operation course and a one-day Basic NaviPac Configuration course.
The new offerings expand EIVA’s broad range of training course options and will be of interest to professionals who would like to gain a general knowledge of the NaviPac software. The main focus of the two-day Basic NaviPac Operation course is online usage, enabling professionals to gain the confidence needed in mobilising this software on a vessel. The one-day Basic NaviPac Configuration course will give trainees the skills in setting up a configuration.
“In co-operation with Atlas Professionals, we have increased the amount of training courses that we offer over the last three years,” says EIVA’s Training and SMS Account Manager Mai Nedergaard. “In the new year, collaboration will allow us to hold courses in even more countries. This means that we can meet our customers where they are and thereby provide many more professionals with the opportunity to improve their knowledge of EIVA’s software solutions. With our two new NaviPac training courses; we hope to accommodate even more of our customers’ specific needs for education and training."
Atlas’ Competency and Training Manager, Dingena Theunisse explains the importance of these courses for professionals, “Investing time in training proves to be a good allocation of time, especially given the current challenges that the market could face. Enhancing knowledge through the courses such as the ones provided by EIVA will further ensure that professionals can take on different opportunities within the industry. Within the last year, it was great to see clients also attending these courses and we hope that this will continue throughout the New Year.”
This expansion will allow EIVA and Atlas to hold courses on six continents, resulting in the number of open courses to increase and provide many more operators the opportunities to improve their knowledge.
The first set of NaviPac courses offered by EIVA will be held at their training centre in Skanderborg, Denmark. The Basic NaviPac Operation course will be set for 26th–27th January 2015 while the Basic NaviPac Configuration course will be held on 28th January 2015. The first courses offered by Atlas Professionals will be held in Aberdeen, Scotland on 16th February – 17th February. Both sets of courses can be found on Atlas’ website, here and EIVA’s training site here.
