Deltek Appoints Duane Kotsen as New Senior Vice President of Global Services

Mr. Kotsen brings 25 years of experience in software technology, consulting and managed services to Deltek

HERNDON, Va. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — November 20, 2014 — Deltek, the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for government contractors and professional services firms, announced today that it has appointed Duane Kotsen as its new Senior Vice President of Global Services. In this position, Kotsen will oversee Deltek’s global services organization and report directly to Mike Corkery, Deltek's President and CEO.

Kotsen brings 25 years of experience in software technology, consulting and managed services to Deltek. Most recently, he has been providing consulting services to senior executives and leadership teams across the enterprise software space. Prior to that, Kotsen was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Services at JDA Software. In that role, he was responsible for consulting, education, cloud management and support in the Americas where he significantly improved the customer experience as well as internal metrics.

Kotsen has also held several other leadership positions at companies including QAD, Inc., PeopleSoft, Extraprise Group and Oracle. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science from Lehigh University, and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
