Nissin Launches Manchester United Animation

MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwired) -- Nov 10, 2014 -- Manchester United's Official Global Partner, Nissin, has today unveiled its global marketing campaign entitled 'Hungry to Win.'

Created in a Japanese anime style, the 30 sec advert was created by world renowned animator Kazuto Nakazawa, whose artwork can also be seen in the Kill Bill movies, and features Angel Di Maria, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie.

'Hungry to Win' is part of Nissin's global marketing initiative, created to inspire its consumers to 'rise to the challenge' and reflect Manchester United's vision -- to be the best both on and off the pitch. It is the first time the Club's players have been depicted using the popular Japanese animation style.

To mark the occasion an exclusive screening was held at Old Trafford today and was attended by CSO of Nissin Foods Holdings Co. Ltd, Mr. Noritaka Ando, Manchester United Group Managing Director, Richard Arnold, and Manchester United Managing Director Asia Pacific, Jamie Reigle, as well as the Manchester United first team.

The animation will be used to promote Manchester United branded Nissin products available in markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, India, Japan, Mexico and Kenya.

Manchester United Group Managing Director, Richard Arnold comments:
'Nissin's 'Hungry to win' is an inspirational campaign that we hope will encourage our fans to aspire to be the best in all they do, whether that is at sport, at school or everyday life.

'This call to action reflects Nissin's desire and drive to expand its global footprint, using its partnership with the club to further develop its consumer offering.'
