CHGT Adds Replacement Toys and Toy Parts to 3D Printing Retail Portal

HOUSTON — (BUSINESS WIRE) — November 6, 2014Changing Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: CHGT) has added replacement toys and toy parts to its menu of products available for customized on-demand 3D printing on its interactive state-of-the-art 3D printing retail portal, currently in development.

“With 3D printing, waiting will be obsolete. We believe there is a massive opportunity here given that the U.S. toy industry had more than $22 billion in revenues last year alone. That’s why we’re adding replacement toys and toy parts to our 3D printing retail portal,” said CHGT CEO Omar T. Durham. “Toys break and parts go missing. What are parents to do but spend time searching for parts that may or may not be easily available, or they replace the toy altogether. With on-demand 3D printing, they can recreate broken or missing toy parts with the simple push of a button.”

The groundbreaking 3D printing retail portal being developed by CHGT subsidiary 6th Dimension Technologies and interactive software developer Advarion Incorporated allows consumers to create their own products using cutting-edge 3D printing technology or select from an online catalog. Users will have the ability to search its database for printable 3D models and purchase them from the site. In addition to offering original equipment manufacturer (OEM) replacement-part manufacturing and licensing opportunities with game and animation developers, the site will feature a diverse menu of options that will enable users to determine the specific toy replacement part or toy they require.

Durham says CHGT is accelerating development of its on-demand 3D printing retail portal to meet the increasing need for replacement toys and toy parts in the $22 billion U.S. toy industry, a potentially lucrative segment of the 3D printing market with infinite revenue-producing potential going forward.
