The 3D printable Sesame Street Monster Collection is available to download and 3D print from the MakerBot Digital Store, with prices starting at $1.99 per digital model. For those who don’t yet have their own 3D printer, but would still love to own a MakerBot 3D printed Sesame Street monster, finished 3D prints are available for purchase in the MakerBot Retail Stores. Prices for completed 3D printed models at the MakerBot Retail Stores will vary depending on the size of the 3D print. These models can be 3D printed exclusively on MakerBot Replicator® 3D Printers and are the first licensed content offered by MakerBot to be protected by secure streaming functionality, allowing users to purchase and print models without hosting files locally.

“Sesame Street was our first licensed content partner on the MakerBot Digital Store, and today they are our first licensed content partner to take advantage of a new secure streaming option we have recently implemented for the MakerBot Digital Store,” noted Jenny Lawton, acting CEO of MakerBot. “This new functionality within the MakerBot Digital Store has been a request of content partners and allows licensed content and intellectual property to be brought to life in a brand-new 3D printed way.”

MakerBot, a global leader in desktop 3D printing, created the MakerBot Digital Store to sell original, fun, and collectible digital content specifically designed for MakerBot Replicator 3D Printers. The MakerBot Digital Store offers a wide selection of 3D printable models that are verified by MakerBot as easy to print.
