October 22, 2014 -- The need to get non-native data formats in and out of the PTC Creo Parametric can be a real issue when working with partners who use different formats. To solve this issue, Theorem Solutions has just announced the release of the latest version of its CADverter translation product suite (v17.2) which helps to resolve the issue of sharing data between the PTC Creo Parametric and PTC Creo View formats with other PLM systems.

Publish 3D suite of products for
PTC’s Creo Parametric WF5, Creo 1.0 and Creo 2.0 includes: Publish 3D Interactive, Publish 3D On Demand and Publish 3D Automated.
This publishing suite allow companies to easily create and share PDF documentation containing embedded interactive 3D data published directly from PTC Creo Parametric data. Published interactive 3D models contained within a standard PDF document can then be viewed and interrogated. Components within assemblies can be turned on and off, shaded and rendered for technical authoring, viewed as either a solid, wireframe or even cross-sectioned, all using the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Multi-CAD for PTC’s Creo Parametric
WF5, Creo 1.0 and Creo 2.0 is aimed at users needing to work in a Multi-CAD environment with CATIA users but without the need for external translation. Native data can be easily inserted into the Multi-CAD environment, keeping full associativity in CATIA and updating the native Creo data automatically, when changes are made.

CATIA V5 Adapters for Creo View are also included in this release with support for CATIA V5 R18 – CATIA V5-V6R2014 (R24)
The latest CADverter will be available on request to customers with a current maintenance agreement, or to other users on attractive upgrade terms. Work on Creo 3.0 is already underway and is set for release later in the year.
