SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwired) -- Sep 30, 2014 -- Informative Graphics Corporation ( IGC®), an OpenText Global Technology Partner and a leader in viewing, collaboration and redaction technology, has announced the launch of Redact-It® Enterprise for OpenText Content Server.
Redact-It Enterprise quickly and accurately removes sensitive content, working with virtually any file format including documents, images, drawings and CAD files. With Redact-It, sensitive information is not just covered, but is completely removed. Organizations can confidently move redacted files through the enterprise or share with third parties knowing that no hidden text, document properties or other metadata is transferred.
Redact-It means no more slowing down business productivity just because documents have intellectual property or other sensitive data. Organizations can remove targeted words or phrases, and use scripts, zones or pattern matching to redact content in a batch process or as part of a workflow before sharing documents internally or with third parties. Redacted versions are published as PDF, PDF/A, TIFF or IGC's secure Content Sealed Format -- leaving the original files intact.
Redact-It helps protect privacy data with its ability to automatically remove Social Security or phone numbers, date of birth and more. It can even add exemption codes for each redaction and keep a redaction log to prove due diligence.
"Companies are moving away from manual steps of redaction," said IGC CEO Gary Heath. "With Redact-It Enterprise for OpenText Content Server, organizations can automate the redaction process and do away with error-prone and labor-intensive steps."
