ARCOM President and CEO, Christopher G. Bushnell Elected President of the International Construction Information Society

Salt Lake City, Utah (June 26, 2014) —ARCOM is excited to announce that it’s President and CEO, Christopher G. Bushnell, AIA, FCSI, was recently elected President of the International Construction Information Society (ICIS) at a recent annual meeting held in Tallinn, Estonia.

Barbora Pospisilova of URS PRAHA, Prague Czech Republic was elected Secretariat and Rolf Huber of Construction Information Ltd. (CIL), Auckland, New Zealand was elected Treasurer at the same meeting.

“ICIS is a unique organization whose members span the breadth of construction information providers, and I am honored to be its President,” said Mr. Bushnell. “With the increasing use of Building Information Models (BIM) for the geometry of building projects, ICIS wants to raise the awareness of the importance of non-geometric data as well. Both types of information are critical to creating and managing construction projects."
