Leadership Change in IPC Standards and Technology Division

BANNOCKBURN, Ill., USA, June 19, 2014 — After seven years of leading IPC’s division of standards and technology, Dave Torp is stepping down to pursue new opportunities in the industry.

“Dave’s contributions to growing and improving IPC standards activity have been significant,” said IPC President & CEO John Mitchell. “On behalf of the IPC Board of Directors and staff, I thank him for his work, dedication and vision.”

David Bergman, IPC’s vice president of international relations, will serve as interim vice president of standards and technology, a role he held previously. Until Torp’s replacement is secured, staff overseeing areas within the standards and technology division will report to David, including: Keenan Loubser, senior director of certification programs; Jasbir Bath, senior director of standards; Mark Pritchard, director of media training; and John Cahoon, operations director of validation services.

Information on IPC’s search for a new vice president of standards and technology is available at www.ipc.org/VP-standards.
